It was 97º at the start of our Friday lunch ride. Certainly the hottest ride I've done in a while. It also happened to be race day for most of us. I felt pretty good throughout the ride, finally sticking with the group all the way through the end. There were a few moments where the group was deterred from traffic, but we all managed to keep the rubber side down. We set a blistering pace, averaging over 25 mph on the worlds course.
