First time riding around Rockaway Beach on my mountain bike this afternoon. It was cold, wet and windy, but it felt good to spin on solid wheels, full-suspension and disc-brakes. I was surprised that I was within reasonable times of my other rides on my road bike. Goes to show how efficient 29er wheels can roll.
